Over nearly ten years of artist residencies, Studio H has accumulated a growing collection of artists, stories, research, exhibitions, projects and creative exchanges.
As we prepare for our 2027 residency year, we are gradually refreshing the Studio H website to make all of that easier to discover — and to make it easier for artists considering a residency to understand what Studio H offers.
The first change is now live: Artists at Studio H.
The redesigned page brings together artists who have undertaken residencies at Studio H and introduces a new search tool. The page no longer mixes all posts from the site, only the artist posts. You can browse the archive or search for an individual artist to find their residency and other posts featuring their work.
You may also notice some changes already appearing across the site. Our updated identity is now more visible too: Artist-run. Artist-centred.
Over the coming weeks we will continue creating easier ways to find Stories, Research & Learning, Exhibitions & Projects, along with updated information about undertaking a residency at Studio H.
We are doing this gradually rather than disappearing behind a construction sign.
We hope you enjoy the redesigned page and can more easily explore the artists, practices and ideas that have been part of Studio H over the past decade. Feel free to look around as the site evolves and send us feedback.
